Skills Gathering

This is a three day weekend ran over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday where people make the commitment to bring a skill they are working on such as bow drill, basket making, cordage, flint knapping, hide tanning etc. You can work on the skill’s that you choose and whilst there is no formal instruction, the Native Awareness team will be on hand for advice.  The gathering is a great excuse for camp fire laughter and the practice of the skills that it can be difficult to make time for sometimes.

Please feel free to attend for as little or as much of the gathering as you wish; be it a day, an evening or the full weekend. Families are more than welcome.

The gathering is self-catered so we recommend that you bring your own cooking equipment but the Native Awareness kitchen is available for tea and coffee only.

We ask only for a contribution from each individual for the hire of the venue and to cover other costs. Due to venue size there are only a certain number of places available so we ask that you book your spot!

…”came to life, by the wonderful array of different characters that had participated, and I especially enjoyed spending time with those that were not from native England”…
