Flint Knapping and Stone Tools

This class will be focused on the importance of stone. Students will gain the skill and experience of reducing a boulder of flint down to a useful tool such as hand axe, adze, arrow head, scraper etc. Other methods of working stone will also be covered, such as pecking, to give an understanding of how to produce stone mallets, hammers, bowls etc.

This class is self-catered, with tea and coffee provided.

Camping available, free of charge but for those who prefer a litle more comfort there are a variety of local B&B’s.
