Fire is such an important part of life. It has provided us with warmth and light as well as help us fashion tools, cook our food and so on. It has also given us entertainment and security. For millennias we have told stories, held council, taught and conducted ceremonies around a central fire.
Many forms of primitive fire making techniques will be demonstrated and practiced during this class including bow drill, hand drill, pump drill, mouth drill, fire saw etc. As part of the course each student over the age of 18 will be gifted a training knife to fashion their own individual fire making kits which they will then take home.
