Bow Hunting

• Prerequisite: Native Skills 1 or a relevant Intensive. (IBEP).
• Optional: Arrow Making, Bow Making

There is no greater test of awareness than the hunt. The ceremony develops so many skills that can be used at other levels of survival. Skills that are essential to be a proficient hunter include, stalking, tracking, camouflage, awareness and of course, the crafting of your own weapons.  The expedition will totally immerse the student in the natural rhythms of nature and develop a far greater understanding of self and the exchange of energy, between the hunter and the hunted.

It is illegal to hunt with the bow and arrow in the UK but there are other countries that allow and even encourage it as a humane way of controlling specie populations. Therefore the class will be held in the wilderness of other lands, such as Finland, France, Spain and the USA.
