Bow Making
5 Days
Prerequisite - None
Cost - £400
This class will take a seasoned log to a fully working bow. You will learn how to select and split the log, shape and tiller to produce a beautiful self flat bow. Descriptions of other bow designs will be covered, as well as arrow manufacture.
Some of the skills covered;
Bow design and performance
Timber selection
Bow construction
Arrow shaft selection
Fletching
String manufacture
Intro to sinew and other bow backings.
